Pre-Litigation Advice

There are millions of computer software and hardware products available off the shelf or specially built for your clients. Each of these software and hardware packages use computer data that could be valuable to potential litigation threatened by opposing parties. This data could easily be deleted in the normal course of business if it is not appropriately considered.

For example, your client's email may be saved in a Microsoft Exchange mail server. Or perhaps your client uses Lotus Notes or Novell Groupwise. Between these three mail servers alone, there are three different collection methods employed to prepare the data for your potential litigation.  Employing the wrong methods could cause you to miss data for your client, or perhaps even delete relevant data.
