I am always looking for the best hardware that will not break the bank. Two pieces of hardware I have ran across recently allow you to attach external hard drives to your desktop or laptop computer systems. The five main things I look for when buying an external hard drive enclosures are: - Can it support the full capacity of the hard drive you put into it?
- Can hard drives be quickly and easily swapped in and out of the enclosure?
- What is the speed from the enclosure? Faster is always better when processing huge files.
- How loud is the enclosure?
- How hot does the enclosure become?
With these five things in mind, I added the following two external hard drive enclosures to my "thumbs up" list. |
